Team Silhouette

Well it was a bitterly cold day, all day; and it stayed that way for a few of our guys. Justin’s car did not make it far into the morning, dumping fuel and fouling out plugs within the first 20 minutes of drive time at the event. The car was then parked for the rest of the day.

Cody and Chris were co-driving the s13 vert, car did well through out the morning until the power steering pump blew, clutch slipping and a massive oil explosion ha; that car was parked for the rest of the day as well.

Onto the competition. Luis and Cody both qualified top 16 in Luis’ car, but unfortunately both were eliminated in first round of tandem.

Our star of the day Nacho pulled through co-driving Emmanuel’s car and qualified 4th to get a first round bye. After waiting he went up against Ammen Rizvi in tandem where a great battle took placing going onto “one more time” twice where in the end Ammen took the very slight edge and proceeded in the competition eventually placing third.

All in all it was not a bad day for Team Silhouette even with some mishaps with a few cars. We would like to thank Mike @ NST and Aaron @ FabricatedMotorsports for hosting a great event. We will see everybody at the next event. Here are a few snapshots from through out the day, more to come!
